We work diligently to make sure all employees understand our vision, and safety has been #1 above all else at Commonwealth since our founding. We make sure all prospective employees go through an extensive background screening before being hired. All drivers must also pass pre-employment drug testing, and submit a complete driving history to be considered for employment. As part of their new hire training, all drivers must complete a comprehensive Defensive Driver Course, and be re-certified annually for this program.
Driving skills are constantly monitored by our live dispatchers through GPS tracking, and DriveCam™ technology that allows our Director of Chauffeur Services to review each driver's performance on a regular basis in regard to their habits, rate of speed and idling time. This helps us to ensure all our clients receive the highest level of service and safety, rivaling that of worldwide leaders.
